Prepare your team with the skills needed to help someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis with this 8-hour course. This course will build mental health literacy and help participants identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness. Participants are taught how to apply the 5-step action plan in a variety of situations. An important component of the MHFA course is the opportunity to practice the intervention strategy rather than just to learn about it. This simple experience can make it easier to actually apply the knowledge in a real-life situation.
